About Night Watch Thunder
Our story, our structure, our way.
Who We Are
Victory through intimidation is nasty to the bone!
Night Watch Thunder stands guard over our brothers and sisters. We hope to create the best-rounded battle team so we may take the field and make all Thunder's enemies quake with fear. Our clan is made up of all types — warriors, medics, water-bearers: everything we need to be a self-contained fighting unit.
Everyone in the clan is expected to earn their place, so coming into the clan is not a right — it is a gift that all prospective members have to strive for. Any person wishing to prospect and bear our mark must be voted in by a majority of the clan. That person will be sponsored by a full member of our family, taught our history and lineage, and will start working within our clan.
As a fighting clan, all members will be expected to have a weapon on their person at events. It should be a weapon they are comfortable using to defend themselves and their family.
The Legend of the Storm
Long ago, our world was awakened by a low, rumbling rumble — the age of Rolling Thunder.
As the clan rose from the earth, they reached for the sky, illuminated by a blinding, golden light.
But the light cast long shadows, and soon a terrifying, dark tempest swept across the lands.
When the fearful storm finally settled, the skies did not clear; instead, they turned the color of pitch-black fur.
To survive in the dark, our ancestors learned to mine and forge, striking their anvils to create cold, unyielding Steel Thunder.
Their mastery of the forge united the scattered clans into a massive fortress, establishing the grand and noble Greater Houses.
However, peace is never permanent. A terrible war tested the fortress, demanding fierce sacrifices and staining the earth.
From the wilderness of that battlefield emerged a fierce, untamed spirit, teaching the survivors to hunt and survive as a pack.
Now, having learned the lessons of the light, the forge, the blood, and the pack, we stand guard in the darkness as the ever-vigilant Night Watch Thunder.
